I first visited Sky View ranch in July of 2014, the moment I stepped out of the car...it felt like home.
I started volunteering that summer and was asked to join the staff team the following year.
Sometimes, Sky View seems too good to be true! My days are spent laughing with kiddos, working with horses, picking flowers, playing countless games, desperately trying to drink just one more quart of water, and leading hurting people to Jesus. This job isn't always easy, but it's totally worth it!! The Lord in faithful and He has always sustained me.
In my free time I enjoy playing music (Piano, fiddle and cello), reading, singing, spending time with my parents and big brother, cooking/baking and making the world more beautiful.
I love ducklings, dark chocolate, red balloons, sunflowers, big dogs, long hugs and good books.
But above all of that, nothing makes my heart sing more than the joy on a childs face when they realize that they are loved by an infinitely forgiving and merciful God, and there's nothing they can ever do to escape His love.
