Heather Crowley
Hi! I’m Heather and I’m excited to be a part of the team at Sky View.
I am a mom to 6 wonderful kiddos and wife to Aaron. I have loved horses since I was a young girl and though I never had a horse of my own, I would often ride with friends on their horses. I went to horse camp as a youngster and have also taken horseback riding lessons as an adult. Sky View is a great mix of horses and children, both of which are an important part of my life.
I had heard about Sky View in 2012 when my family and I joined the church that Larry Swayze pastors and it sounded like a wonderful ministry to children and families. Since then, I have had the opportunity to watch it grow, praying for the ministry over the years and even have had the opportunity to watch two of my children participate as volunteers/staff at the ranch.
I was asked to join the Board of Directors for Sky View in 2020 and am very excited to be on the front-lines as God uses the ministry of Sky View to proclaim His hope and salvation to those who come up to the ranch. I also look forward to volunteering this summer and hope to connect with kids and their families.
A Little Bit about Me
I have been married to Aaron for 21 years and am mom to 6 children. God has a great sense of humor in giving me 6 kids as I never seem to be able to do more than one thing at a time. Being a wife and mother have been the joy of my life and I am so thankful to be entrusted by the Lord with these roles.
I love getting to know other women and appreciate hearing their stories. I’m so thankful for the love and hope that God has given me through Jesus Christ and am glad to share that with others.
I like to sing at the top of my lungs, laugh out loud and go hiking. My favorite foods are dates with peanut butter and chocolate. Preferably together. I enjoy leading worship at church and singing at home with my girls. I am passionate about adoption and learning more about the foster care system in the hopes to foster kids in my own home someday.
